The peach is a metaphor for the juiciness of my life, its jubilance and dance. These are brought together in Rumi’s 13th Century poetry, which perfectly expresses the pleasure I find in “making.”

In your light I learn to love.
In your beauty how to make poems.
You dance inside my chest,
where on one sees you,
but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes my art.

Rumi – Persia, 13th Century
